Q&A:
What first inspired you to open a business? What was that initial journey like?
This is actually my second business! My husband and I own and run a GastroPub here in Stockton, we’ve had it for 5 years now. I entered into the world of aesthetics by chance. I was a women’s health nurse for years and felt I could do much more for people outside of mainstream healthcare. More specifically, the Latinx population.
What types of treatments does Vida offer? Any specialized focuses or favorite services?
At Vida we offer non-surgical, minimally invasive aesthetic and wellness services.
Services:
Neuromodulators, dermal fillers, fat dissolves, microneedling, PRP, chemical peels, medical grade skin care, facials, laser treatments, IV vitamins, and vitamin shots.
My favorite treatment is Microneedling with PRP paired with a Vitamin C IV drip, it’s a simple procedure that gives the skin a refreshed appearance and the vitamin C helps combat free radicals, addresses oxidative stress, and adds brightness to the skin.
I understand that you have recently unveiled a rebranding - congrats! Was there anything specific that encouraged you to do so?
Thank you! The space and clinic had a very sterile feeling to it which is fine, however, I envisioned a space that was welcoming, comfortable, and unique. A place that is all inclusive where people can feel at home and relaxed.
Is there anything you’d like new and/or returning customers to know about your medical spa and/or specialists?
At Vida we pride ourselves in providing a safe space for all people regardless of gender, race, and ethnicity. We speak fluent Spanish and pride ourselves in our ability to serve the Latinx community.

What advice would you give to other individuals wanting to start in the med spa industry?
Just go for it! It is definitely something that is frightening and there is no guarantee there will be immediate success, however, life is about taking risks and putting yourself out there. I always say “if it doesn’t scare you then it’s not worth it!”.
When getting started, did you speak with other companies? What made you choose We Treat?
I did speak with a couple more companies, however, they did not offer the all inclusive services We Treat offers.
